BCA Syariah Distributes Customer Zakat to BAZNAS RI and Introduces ZIS Feature on BSya

Jakarta, April 6, 2026 – PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah), in collaboration with the National Board of Zakat of the Republic of Indonesia (BAZNAS RI), has strengthened their synergy in distributing religious social funds. This was marked by the handover of customer Zakat and corporate Infaq, alongside the official launch of the Donation feature (Zakat, Infaq, Sedekah) on the BSya by BCA Syariah mobile banking application.

The launch of this feature is a strategic step to expand public access to digital Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah (ZIS) payments through trusted amil zakat institutions, including BAZNAS RI.

President Director of BCA Syariah, Yuli Melati Suryaningrum, stated that Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah are vital instruments in human development, serving as an economic force and fostering social solidarity.

“Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah are means to support one another and bring benefits to others. Through our collaboration with BAZNAS, we strive to bring the community closer to fund collection efforts that provide a real impact for the mustahik (rightful recipients),” said Yuli.

BCA Syariah and BAZNAS RI have maintained a consistent partnership in distributing customer zakat funds. As of 2025, this collaboration has reached 82 mustahik micro-entrepreneurs who received support to develop their businesses and enhance their economic independence.

On this occasion, BCA Syariah handed over customer zakat funds and corporate infaq to BAZNAS RI. This distribution is expected to reach more recipients and provide sustainable benefits for the improvement of community welfare.

Chairman of BAZNAS RI, Dr. Ir. H. Sodik Mudjahid, M. Sc., said, “This is an innovation in digital services, and we are very grateful because it is now even easier for the public to pay Zakat Fitrah, as well as Infaq and Sedekah, more practically directly from BSya by BCA Syariah mobile banking.”

In line with evolving customer needs, BCA Syariah also launched the Donation feature on the BSya app. This feature enables customers to distribute Zakat, Infaq, and Sedekah easily, securely, and seamlessly from their mobile devices.

“We want to be a ‘blessed companion’ (sahabat berkah) for our customers and make sharing kindness even easier. With this feature, we hope community participation in zakat will increase, allowing Indonesia's zakat potential to be collected and distributed more optimally,” Yuli concluded.
