Whistleblowing System

The Whistleblowing System (WBS) is a means for employees or work partners to convey information if indications of irregularities are found by BCA Syariah employees as a form of preventing the risk of fraud.

BCA Sharia always applies the principles of good corporate governance consistently to build a healthy, integrity-driven, and trustworthy business environment. To support the implementation of good corporate governance, BCA Sharia has a Whistleblowing System (WBS), which is one of the pillars of BCA Sharia's anti-fraud strategy. Here is a summary of BCA Sharia's Whistleblowing System policy:

Reporting Channels

Complaint Information

  • Reporter's identity, either name (allowed to be anonymous), and contact number/email
  • The reporter must provide indications of what happened (what), the perpetrator and/or involved parties (who), the time of the incident (when), the location of the incident (where), and how it happened (how)

Types of Deviations that can be Reported

WBS provides an opportunity for employees to report indications of fraud, violations of the code of ethics, conflicts of interest violations, or legal violations committed by BCA Sharia internally.

Protection for the Reporter

For reports proven to be true, BCA Sharia will provide protection for the reporter in the form of:

  • Guarantee of confidentiality of the reporter's identity and the contents of the report.
  • Guarantee of protection against any detrimental treatment to the reporter.
  • Guarantee of protection against possible threats, intimidation, punishment, or unpleasant actions from the reported party.
