BCA Syariah Introduces 'Rumah Sahabat', Bringing Sharia Banking Experience Closer to the Community

JAKARTA, June 20, 2026 – PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) officially opened ‘Rumah Sahabat’ (House of Friends) at the Senayan City outdoor area on Saturday (20/6) and Sunday (21/6). This initiative is an immersive exhibition aimed at enhancing public sharia financial literacy and inclusion through a combination of education, entertainment, and spiritual sessions on life's blessings.

President Director of BCA Syariah, Yuli Melati Suryaningrum, stated, “A home can mean more than a physical structure. Through ‘Rumah Sahabat’, BCA Syariah wishes to present a home that provides comfort like a close friend, as well as a space filled with warmth, entertainment, and various beneficial solutions for every stage of life's journey. We invite the public to come, share stories, and gain added value for individuals and families together with BCA Syariah.”

Rumah Sahabat is designed as an inclusive hub for everyone, including the general public, customers, and communities. Inside, visitors can interact with various sharia banking products through a comfortable and blessed home-visit concept.

Visitors are guided through various areas divided into three pillars of life wellness: Spiritual Health, Financial & Mental Health, and Entertainment, consisting of:

  • Living Room & Dining Room: An area where visitors can have casual discussions regarding family financial management and receive education on sharia banking products in an intimate atmosphere.
  • The Pause Room (Ruang Jeda): A dedicated space to unwind and strengthen mental health. Here, visitors can participate in mental health consultation sessions with the ESQ team and receive tips on staying calm amidst a fast-paced lifestyle.
  • Expression Room (Ruang Ekspresi): A space to channel creativity, featuring an exhibition of creative women-led MSMEs assisted by WEpreneur, alongside inspiring business regeneration discussion sessions with Prof. Rhenald Kasali.

The presence of Rumah Sahabat is also part of the strategy to support user growth for the BSya mobile banking application. As of May 2026, the user growth for BSya by BCA Syariah surged 339.7% year-on-year (yoy), reaching a total of approximately 221,000 customers. The mobile banking application also successfully contributed 69% of BCA Syariah’s total new customer acquisition in 2026.

To maintain this positive growth momentum, Rumah Sahabat visitors are offered various attractive benefits by using the BSya mobile banking application. These include a balance bonus of up to Rp50,000 for users who newly activate BSya or migrate from BCA Syariah mobile to BSya. Customers can also enjoy a 50% cashback of up to Rp25,000 for payments using BSya QRIS at F&B merchants, and a 50% cashback of up to Rp150,000 at fashion merchants within the event area.
