Education for Muslimat NU MSMEs
BCA Syariah held the WEpreneur Summit 2024 as part of efforts to enhance financial literacy packaged in an empowerment program and capacity building for female MSME entrepreneurs. In this event, BCA Syariah awarded three participants of the WEpreneur 2 program by BCA Syariah. The award was given to the program participants (Big Sistas) who completed the series of educational activities over 4 months. During this event, Big Sistas also passed on the knowledge gained from the boot camp session through the micro-mentoring program and in total, conducted 58 micro-mentoring activities, reaching up to 1,528 other female MSME players as education participants.
BCA Syariah distributes customers' zakat funds to the National Zakat Amil Body (BAZNAS) for further distribution through an economic empowerment program for micro-business beneficiaries in the form of capital assistance for business development for 30 micro-entrepreneurs in the East Jakarta region. In addition to business capital assistance, BCA Syariah and BAZNAS also provide financial management training.
BCA Syariah held a pitching competition as part of the training and mentoring activities for female MSMEs to enhance financial literacy and participants' ability to present business ideas through engaging presentations, aiming to attract potential investors.
