BCA Syariah Celebrates Indonesia’s 80th Anniversary with Employee Blood Donation

Jakarta, August 14, 2025 – PT Bank BCA Syariah celebrated the 80th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia by organizing a blood donation drive and free health check-up at its Head Office in Jakarta (August 15). The event was held in collaboration with the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and Hermina Hospital.

BCA Syariah Director Ina Widjaja stated, “The Independence Day commemoration is the right moment to strengthen solidarity. The blood donation drive and free health check-up are part of our Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) initiatives, aimed at improving public health and reinforcing the company’s role in creating positive and sustainable social impact.”

Since 2018, BCA Syariah has conducted blood donation drives twice a year, engaging employees and the surrounding community of its Head Office. Beyond meeting blood supply needs, blood donation also provides health benefits for the donors themselves.

At this year’s event, BCA Syariah successfully collected around 100 bags of blood, which were handed over to the Indonesian Red Cross. For the health check-up activity, BCA Syariah partnered with Hermina Hospital Jakarta to provide cholesterol, blood sugar, and uric acid level screenings.

To further promote a healthy lifestyle, BCA Syariah also organizes various health and wellness initiatives such as educational health webinars, free vaccination programs, office sports facilities, and hobby development programs. These efforts reflect the company’s commitment to fostering work-life balance through a healthy and productive work environment.
