BCA Syariah launched WEpreneur 3

Jakarta, August 1, 2025 – PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) has officially launched WEpreneur 3, the third edition of its women entrepreneur empowerment program, following the success of its two previous cohorts. In line with the company’s sustainability values, WEpreneur by BCA Syariah is a strategic initiative designed to support the growth of resilient, independent, and competitive women entrepreneurs.

In its third year, WEpreneur by BCA Syariah adopts the theme Empower, Grow, Lead. This theme embodies the spirit of growth, networking, and creating positive impact for the surrounding community. The program focuses on three pillars: self-awareness and business motivation (ignite purpose), strengthening business models (amplify process), and market readiness (impact).

According to data from the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs, as of May 2025, the number of MSMEs in Indonesia has reached 57 million business units, including ultra-micro enterprises. Of this total, approximately 64.5% or around 37 million units are managed by women. Despite their significant role in supporting the backbone of the national economy, women-led MSMEs often face major challenges in achieving sustainable growth.

President Director of BCA Syariah Yuli Melati Suryaningrum, said, “WEpreneur 3 by BCA Syariah is built as a community-based ecosystem that is empowering, value-driven, collaborative, and rooted in blessings. Beyond profit, we also encourage participants to contribute socially to the community.”

This year, the program targets women MSME entrepreneurs in Jakarta, Banten, and West Java, and will run for three months. In its implementation, BCA Syariah is collaborating with The Local Enablers, a social enterprise and innovative ecosystem in Indonesia focused on entrepreneurship development, particularly for MSMEs and startups. The program is not limited to training delivery but is designed to create a growth space that facilitates transformation for entrepreneurs.

“We believe that empowering women MSMEs is not only about providing access to training and capital, but also about building resilience and adaptability in navigating the ever-changing business landscape. Through this program, we hope women entrepreneurs will become more confident, adaptive, and capable of taking strategic roles in sustainable economic growth,” Yuli added.

The registration period for WEpreneur 3 by BCA Syariah starts from 31 July to 17 August 2025, registration link available at www.bcasyariah.co.id.

Term and condition of WEpreneur 3 by BCA Syariah:

  1. Women aged 20–45 years old
  2. Business domicile in DKI Jakarta, West Java, or Banten
  3. Have an active business operating for at least 2 years
  4. Business has digital assets (social media, website, or online store on e-commerce platforms)
  5. Active in local communication and demonstrate leadership qualities
  6. Committed to following all program rules and activities
