BCA Syariah and Istiqlal Mosque Synergize to Boost Islamic Financial Inclusion Through #BSyaInfaq

JAKARTA, June 15, 2026 – PT Bank BCA Syariah (BCA Syariah) has officially partnered with Istiqlal Mosque to digitalize the management of Zakat, Infaq, Alms, and Waqf (ZISWAF). This collaboration introduces the #BSyaInfaaq program and integrates the services into the Zakat & Donation Transfer menu within the BSya mobile banking application. The synergy aims to strengthen Islamic financial inclusion and expand access to digital sharia financial services for the public.

Through this integrated digital collaboration with Istiqlal Mosque, we ensure that the technological advancements of the BSya mobile banking application bring real, inclusive benefits to the community."

The Grand Imam of Istiqlal Mosque, Prof. Dr. KH. Nasaruddin Umar, MA, also welcomed the synergy between BCA Syariah and Istiqlal Mosque. "Mosques hold a social role as public spaces that unite the community, while fostering goodness and inclusion. This synergy with BCA Syariah is vital in achieving this, making ZISWAF increasingly inclusive and supporting the national '1,000 Inclusive Mosques' movement across Indonesia."

This collaboration introduces new features to the BSya mobile banking application, namely:

  • Istiqlal #BSyaInfak Program: New customers who open an account online via the BSya app with a minimum initial deposit of Rp1,000,000 (one million rupiah) will automatically have it converted into an infaq donation for a Mushaf Al-Quran. The Istiqlal Mosque authority will subsequently distribute this trust to communities in need.
  • Convenience for Zakat UPZ Baznas Istiqlal: The Zakat Collection Unit (UPZ) Baznas account for Istiqlal Mosque is now officially integrated into the Zakat & Donation menu under the Transfer feature in BSya mobile banking. This initiative allows customers to pay zakat, alms, or donations directly, securely, and at any time.

The synergy in digitalizing ZISWAF with Istiqlal Mosque is a tangible implementation of the "Sahabat Berkahmu" value, reflecting BCA Syariah's commitment to becoming a closer companion throughout the various journeys of its customers' lives.

Furthermore, as part of the Sahabat Berkahmu initiative, BCA Syariah has prepared a sharia financial literacy and inclusion event titled 'Rumah Sahabat 2026'. The event, scheduled to take place at the Senayan City Outdoor Area on June 20–21, is designed as a hub for modern lifestyle interactions that bring Islamic banking products closer to the daily dynamics of the wider community.
